Welcome
to Explore Granada, a new
project of mine. You may or may not be familiar
with Explore
Seville, my guide to the city a few
hours west of Granada. Living in Andalucia
has been wonderful, and from my trips back
and forth to Seville and Granada, plus several
towns in between, I hope to be able to offer
some information from the point of view
of the traveler.
As I begin this site I realize it is not
and never will be the final source for information
for the city of Granada. I enjoy a challenge
and loved creating Explore Seville, so I
decided why not spend some time in Granada
and get to know the city while writing about
it. I will happily point to other resources
as I build the information for this site,
and will always find a way to include other
sites which cover topics more throroughly
than I. For now, this is what I would call
a concise guide to the city, with the basic
information you need to get around to the
sights, shops, bars and restaurants. Also
included are some recommended hotels and
hostals in Granada. I make a small percentage
from these, but I also have selected them
from my and family members recommendations
- people who have actually stayed in the
establishments. Look for the listings where
you will see what I recommend.
