Making
a reservation for accommodations online in Sevilla is something
more and more of you want to do to save time in making their
travel plans. Most of you have gotten over the (unfounded)
fear of having your credit card information stolen over
the internet when reserving in the U.S.. You may still have
doubts about making that reservation online from a site
in another country. Anything from confusing translation
to unsecure servers asking for your credit cards can make
the process harder. Some sites have you send an email and
then you wait for a confirmation, mainly due to the fact
that a lot of hotels and hostels are not wired and integrated
into an online reservation system. In this case someone
on the other end gets your request and shuttles it off to
the lodging provider via email, phone or fax. And there
is always a dreaded overseas call if you don't get a confirmation
or have a question: will they speak English? Will they even
answer the phone?
There
are some sites out there which are well translated, have
consolidated the process and offer a decent selection of
accommodations from 1 to 5 stars. Others are comical to
read in their attempts at translating Spanish to English.
If you speak Spanish you'll have many more options when
looking for lodging online. Below is a list of some of the
sites I've come across when researching online reservations.
There is a mix of locations for home offices - anywhere
from Seville to the U. K.
